East Central: Cool areas in a hot city.

    February 26, 2016

EAST CENTRAL  in Surry Hills  is a development  of elegant architecturally designed apartment in the fashionable suburb of Surry Hills. Designed by Brenchley Architects, a bold yet stylish eight level residential building has been created to complement the streetscape in a bustling area with Cafes.

Sophisticated, yet relaxed internally...  Urban, edgy vibrant externally, East Central  uses the  void spaces and materials  to  give a feeling of light  and air, creating a  calm and  cool space minutes from the city.

The lobby  welcomes you with its thoughtful use of space and light. A striking six storey void houses a giant bamboo garden that stretches up to the sky, creating a Zen like sensation. The entry  houses  a cage and an organic supermarket.

This sleek building is comprised of one, two and three bedroom apartments with loggias, natural stone floors, dark timber joinery, LED light fittings, marble bathrooms and smooth clean lines, complete with security access.

The mixed use elements  create a community feeling, and  the units are bathed in natural light with views of  the city and  across Central station.
